EV Driver Training
GET BEHIND THE WHEEL
Our practical EV Driver Training helps you get comfortable behind the wheel of your electric vehicle. You will not only improve your confidence and safety, but also deepen your understanding of your vehicle’s technology, maintenance needs, and energy efficiency. You’ll learn how to get the best performance, range, and longevity from your EV while minimising wear and tear and charging costs.
Learners with a minimum of 50 hours on their log book are welcome to attend this course, however please note that this course does not provide additional hours towards their logbook, please refer to the NSW Safer Driver Course for the additional 20 hours of logbook time.

- Regenerative braking and one pedal driving

- Reaction times & braking skills in wet/dry conditions
WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear casual, comfortable clothing with regards to weather conditions - it can get very hot, and equally very cold at Sydney Motorsport Park. Ensure that you wear comfortable flat, closed in shoes. Please note that high heels, thongs or sandals are not permitted.
VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
Please ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy and has:
- A full charge
- Tyre pressures at recommended manufacturer levels, please refer to your vehicle handbook for optimum levels.
- Remove any loose items from your vehicle
