YOUR CAR. OUR TRACK.

Find out what you and your car are capable of with the assistance of our experienced instructors. This is your chance to experience Sydney Motorsport Park’s Gardner GP Circuit in your own vehicle, with our team of experienced instructors on hand to provide coaching and advice. Drivers are split into groups based on experience and vehicle speed, chose your group when booking or call us to discuss.

MORNING SESSION
Advanced Road Cars
Race Cars
8:00am – 12:30pm
– Two groups will run in alternating sessions: one for Advanced Road Cars and one for Race Cars
– Private sessions can also be arranged – please contact Driving Solutions
– Instructors available for in-car tuition during the day, if you would like a dedicated instructor to be with you for the whole session please contact Driving Solutions for details

AFTERNOON SESSION
Beginners Road Cars
Intermediate Road Cars
12:00pm – 5:00pm
– Road registered vehicles only
– Two groups will run, one for Beginners and one for Intermmediate drivers. As a guideline, the Beginners Group will suit drivers who have previously attended less than 3 track days at SMSP and the Intermediate Group will suit those who have attended 3 or more track days at SMSP. Please contact us if you are not sure which group to book into. Driving Solutions reserves the right to reallocate drivers between groups if deemed necessary

– Instructors available for in-car tuition during the day, if you would like a dedicated instructor to be with you for the whole session please contact Driving Solutions for details

TRACK DAY DETAILS
– Prices are per driver unless drivers are sharing a vehicle in the same group
– All drivers must have a minimum of a P1 (Red P-Plate) Licence
– Long sleeve shirts and pants (covering ankle to wrist) and closed toe, flat shoes must be worn
– Helmets are compulsory, a limited number of helmets are available to hire, please select this option when booking
– Passengers are not permitted
– Please ensure vehicles are roadworthy, have the correct oil and water levels and a full tank of fuel
– Please ensure tyre pressures are set to recommended manufacturer levels.
– Remove any loose articles from your vehicle
– Trackdays will go ahead whatever the weather

COST – $375
Cancellations must be advised at least 7 days prior to the course date so that a transfer to an alternative date can be arranged, cancellations after this date will result in a forfeit of all fees paid. Transfers must be completed within 6 months of the original course date. Refunds for cancellation or non-attendance are not available.

CAMS OBSERVED LICENCE TESTS (OLT)
A CAMS Observed Licence Test (OLT) is a test of practical skill, where CAMS approved instructors observe you under modified race conditions. Successful completion of the OLT is a critical component of receiving your racing licence. It gives you the opportunity to show you have a basic understanding and knowledge of manoeuvring a vehicle at high speeds to ensure the safety of both yourself and others, including drivers, officials and spectators.
Driving Solutions is a CAMS-accredited OLT provider and offers the opportunity to complete your OLT during a trackday in either the Experienced or Race Car Sessions. If you wish to complete your OLT, please book into the Trackday session of your choice, either Experienced or Race Car, depending on your vehicle, and select OLT as an optional extra when booking.
Vehicles used for the OLT do not have to be race cars but must be free of defects, and must have a passenger seat fitted. Please contact us to discuss your vehicle if you are unsure of its suitability.
